A Camp Verde man has been arrested after Yavapai County Sheriff’s investigators found him to be running a psychedelic drug business out of his home. Officials searched the home of 49-year-old Adam Dearmon last Tuesday. Investigators found $30-thousand worth of Mescaline, which is the psychedelic drug found in Peyote. Dearmon’s operation had packages of the drug shipped from Peru to his home. During the search, investigators also found 427 live Peyote Cacti, 83 marijuana plants, 29 pounds of dried Peyote, 59 pounds of processed marijuana, five pounds of psychedelic mushrooms and seven LSD tabs, among other substances. Officials also say Dearmon may have also started a Native American Church to justify selling the drugs. Dearmon was booked on multiple charges, along with 48-year-old Tiffany Michelle Smith, who lives with Dearmon. Both have been released on ten-thousand dollars bond.
