Body Of Missing Flagstaff Woman Found Near Snowbowl, After Her Husband Agreed To A Plea Deal

A little more information is known about the disappearance of 45-year-old Kelly Paduchowski and her husband’s admittance to killing her last week. KAFF News has learned soon after 58-year-old Daniel Paduchowski agreed to a deal where he would plead guilty to second-degree murder, and other charges, he led investigators to just off Highway 180 and North Hart Prairie Road. It was there that Kelly’s body was found at around 10 a.m. Friday. There’s still no word on how she was killed. During the investigation, according to documents, Kelly and Daniel were in an argument at their home in the Coconino Estates neighborhood. Neighbors told police they had heard her yelling his name and then saw her laying face-down with Daniel on top of her. Flagstaff Police say during the time of the argument, no one called 9-1-1 from that area. Investigators later found blood around the outside of the home.  Kelly’s phone placed her at Schultz Creek Trial at around 10:30 a.m. last Sunday, with Daniel in the same area about an hour later. Her phone was back to their residence at around 12:13 p.m. Kelly’s car was found at Campbell Mesa Trailhead at around 1:30 and Daniel called police saying she hadn’t returned home and she may be out at Lake Mary, at around 7:39 p.m. Daniel pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence, concealment of a dead body and possession of dangerous drugs. He will spend 16 years in prison without the possibility of parole. Daniel is set to appear in court September 10th at 1:30 p.m. where the judge will officially accept the plea and officially sentence Daniel.
