The body of a Prescott man, missing since July 12th has been found. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office say the body 49-year-old Patrick James Higgins was found Saturday after an extensive search by YCSO and his family and friends. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 2 p.m. that a body had been found in a ravine in the Bannie Mine area near Walker on the outskirts of Prescott. It is the last place Higgins was seen. Search and rescue personnel arrived at the scene, but decided the terrain was too difficult around the body and waited until Sunday morning. Three members of the team remained on site with the body in an act of kindness. A DPS helicopter retrieved Higgins out of the ravine Sunday morning.
