National Park Service officials believe they have found the body of a Hungarian man, who was believed to have traveled to the Grand Canyon on or around July 19th. Rangers believe they recovered the body of 45-year-old Gabor Berczi-Tomcsanyi Monday about 430-feet below the rim at Yavapai Point on the South Rim. The man’s vehicle was found at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center at the South Rim on August 9th, but there was no sign of him. The body was taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office. An investigation into the death is being conducted by the National Park Service.
