The Town of Prescott Valley decided on a new Chief of Police Monday. The announcement was made by Prescott Valley Town Manager Gilbert Davidson, who also announced that the current Acting Chief Jeremy Martin will be promoted to Commander. The new Chief of Police role will be filled by Bob Ticer, former Arizona Department of Public Safety Commander and Loveland, Colorado Police Chief. Ticer began his career as a patrol officer in Prescott, but worked his way up to Chief of Police first in Avon, Colorado, and currently Loveland, Colorado where he has been since 2016. Ticer says he is honored to return back to Prescott Valley where he started his family. He adds, “I’m excited to take the Prescott Valley Police Department to the next level, and to partner with the community.” Chief Ticer is expected to begin on April 11th.
