Blood Donations Are Needed As Blood Supplies Are At A Critically Low Level

Vitalant is in need of blood donations.  Officials say there is a critical shortage of all blood types.  They say if the blood supply is not replenished, doctors may have to make tough choices about patient care.  Here are some blood drives coming up in Northern Arizona.  There is a blood drive in Chino Valley this Saturday at the Chino Valley Middle School from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  There is the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors blood drive in Flagstaff next Tuesday at the Vitalant Warehouse at 345 South River Run Road from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Also next Tuesday there will be a drive at Yavapai College Verde Valley from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Again, all blood types are sorely needed.  If you are fully vaccinated, you can donate blood.
