Authorities Looking For An Armed Man Who Confronted Several People On The Trails Near Mt. Elden Sunday

Flagstaff Police are warning the public about a man armed with a knife, who reportedly confronted several people on the Mt. Elden trail system Sunday. Police are telling people to avoid the area for the time being. Authorities say the man is either Hispanic or Native American in his 20s, around six-feet tall and weighs 140 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair. He was last seen wearing an olive green, or tan shirt and shorts. A number of law enforcement agencies looked for the man for several hours before Monsoon storms brought a search to a halt Sunday night. There is still no signs of the man. If anyone sees, or encounters him, use caution and call 911 immediately.
