Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a Prescott man who went hiking back on June 7th and hasn’t been seen since. Authorities say 64-year-old John Robert Saville left his home at around 3 p.m. in his faded silver 1991 Nissan pickup truck, with a red tailgate, with his backpack. He told a friend that he intended on going hiking northwest of Prescott and his plan was to return between June 16th and June 18th. Saville hasn’t returned. Searchers found Saville’s truck Sunday in a remote area of Yolo Ranch, northwest of Prescott. Sheriff’s officials sent search and rescue members, and a DPS helicopter, to the area. There have been no signs of him, but searchers are looking in the area where his truck was found. He is a white male, five-foot-six inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown eyes with gray, mostly bald, hair. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at (800) 932-3232.
