Four people were arrested Monday after an investigation into suspected drug dealing in Camp Verde. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say the bust was conducted by multiple agencies, including PANT. Officers were able to round up Cory Sanks, Bobby Baysinger, Melvin Sloan and Richard Hill early Monday morning. Sloan was found in possession of a useable amount of meth and fentanyl. Once three of the four were arrested, officers entered a home on Hollaman Road at around 4 a.m. Once inside, they found Hill with a meth pipe and a baggy of meth. He also had felony warrants. Detectives found around 80 grams of meth, over 100 fentanyl pills, five grams of heroin, around 20 Xanax pills, prescription pills, 20 LSD tabs, six syringes with psilocybin mushroom spores and butane THC extraction materials. They also found a rifle, three handguns, surveillance equipment and a significant amount of stolen property. All four were booked on multiple drug and weapons charges. Officials say many members of the community came to the scene to thank law enforcement for the bust and for the response to community complaints.
