A suspect that was Day 9 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” program has been arrested in Tampa, Florida. Authorities were looking for 39-year-old Nicole Lynn Weil. She worked at Mingus Mountain Academy in Prescott Valley in June of 2017 she reportedly gave narcotics to students at the facility. Authorities also say she was giving drugs to a staff member in exchange for rides to and from work. Well was convicted on drug charges, but violated her probation. Following various leads, deputies from the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force located Weil Thursday and took her into custody without incident. She is currently in the Hillsborough County Jail in Florida awaiting extradition back to Yavapai County.
