Arizona Snowbowl is open for the winter season. The resort was set to open Friday, but they decided to move opening day up a day. Operators have been making snow, plus some natural snow has fallen over the past couple of weeks. Snowbowl received three inches of new snow Sunday. Snowbowl is set to open at 9 a.m. and will remain open until 4 p.m., weather permitting. Only advanced and intermediate terrain will be open immediately. Beginner trails won’t be available until further notice. The Arizona Gondola will allow access to Upper Ridge, Midway Catwalk, Logjam, Wild Turkey and back down to the gondola at Agassiz Lodge.
