Arizona Snowbowl has decided to cease operations at 4 p.m. today due to the coronavirus pandemic. The ski resort will be closed until further notice. The closure will affect all lift operations, uphill access, food and beverage, retail and rental services. General manager Rob Linde said in a statement: “We apologize for the short notice – we intended a very different sendoff for our closing,” He added: “We are following the guidance of Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans. Although we’re located outside city limits and not required to follow the jurisdiction of the City of Flagstaff, we’ve voluntarily made the decision to suspend operations when the lifts close today.” For more information log onto snowbowl.ski.
