Arizona Health officials say there are 24 more deaths reported with 238 more cases of COVID-19 in the state, according to Thursday’s report. There are now 450 deaths in Arizona with 9,945 cases of the virus. There have been over 111-thousand people tested, with 7,499 new tests reported today, which is a new high. Numbers are starting to roll in from last Saturday’s blitz testing statewide. One stat that keeps going down however, is the percentage of those who have tested positive. A week ago, the number was nine percent. On Thursday the number is 7.6-percent, which is down a tenth of a percent since Wednesday. The amount of positive tests in Navajo County has risen to 912, there’s 609 in Coconino County, 630 in Apache County and 172 in Yavapai County. Another testing blitz is set for this Saturday across the state. Check your local health and human services website for locations near you.
