Arizona is inching toward the seven-thousand case, and 300 death, mark with 18 more deaths reported Tuesday, according to the latest report from state health officials. Officials report 232 new cases to raise the number of coronavirus cases to 6,948 with 293 deaths. There were nearly 900 new tests reported Tuesday, to raise the number of tests conducted to 67,438. There are 665 cases in Navajo County, 435 in Coconino County, 380 in Apache County and 78 in Yavapai County. The state does intend to “ramp up” testing statewide soon with “testing blitzs” set to begin this weekend.
