Arizona has its largest gains in COVID-19 so far since testing began. State health officials say there were nearly 16-hundred new cases of the virus reported Friday. Arizona also has gone over 1,000 deaths from COVID-19, with 16 new record deaths for 1,012 in total. In Coconino and Yavapai counties there were no new deaths, however Coconino County has 37 new positive cases, while Yavapai has 16. As of this morning, Flagstaff Medical Center has 20 positive COVID-19 patients at the hospital with 48 pending results. There is more than 12-hundred confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients in Arizona Hospitals as of Thursday, which is the highest level by more than 100 since the state started providing data on hospitalizations back on April 9th.
