Construction continues on Route 66 related to the Rio De Flag bridge replacement. Starting Monday through April 18th, Route 66 will be open to normal traffic operation, with the exception of intermittent westbound right-lane closures. Then, Monday April 19th through Sunday, May 9th, the east and westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted to the south side of the road. Drivers will not be able to make a left turn onto Humphreys Street from Route 66, or at Humphreys and Santa Fe Avenue. Drivers needing to access Humphreys Street should use San Francisco via Columbus Avenue. In addition starting on Monday, April 19th and lasting through Sunday, May 23rd, ADOT will reduce the speed limit to 25 miles-per-hour between Butler Avenue and Beaver Street and will include a 12-foot vehicle width restriction.
