An unlocked van leads to an arrest Tuesday morning in Prescott Valley. Police officers responded to the 56-hundred block of North Long Rifle Road concerning suspicious activity. When they arrived officers found a man in a van which was parked in a driveway on private property. The man identified himself as 29-year-old Austin Gregory Parks from Colorado. Parks told officers he knew he had no business or permission being in the van. Officers contacted the van’s owner who told them they didn’t know Parks either and wanted him arrested for trespassing Parks was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center in Camp Verde. Prescott Valley Police remind residents to always lock their vehicles, even when it’s parked at home.
