An AMBER Alert that was in effect for missing three-month-old Braidin Begay and 16-month-old Bailey Begay has been cancelled after they were found safe overnight and their father has been taken into custody. Navajo Police say they were found unharmed in a remote area of Dolores, Colorado and have been reunited with their mother. The two were taken from their home near Aneth, Utah at around 4:21 p.m. Navajo Nation time Thursday by their father 35-year-old Brandon Begay. They were in his 2005 F250 with a temporary Arizona license plate. Authorities say Brandon had made threats to harm himself before leaving the home. Brandon has been arrested without incident.
