ADOT To Narrow Route 66 To One Lane In Downtown Flagstaff Starting Monday

Historic Route 66 will be undergoing traffic shifts for construction related to the Rio De Flag bridge replacement starting Monday and continuing to May 7th. East and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on the north side of the road from Monday until April 16th, then reduced to one lane each on the south side from April 16-May 7. In addition, the speed limit will be reduced to 25 miles-per-hour, and drivers will not be able to make a left turn onto Humphreys Street from Route 66, or at Humphreys and Santa Fe Avenue. Drivers needing to access Humphreys Street should use San Francisco via Columbus Avenue. More information can be found azdot.org.
