The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers of Prescott Valley to plan for daytime lane closures from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Wednesday and Thursday. The closures are needed due to pavement preservation work on the highway. Both north and southbound State Route 89A near Old Fain Road in Prescott Valley will be limited to an alternating one lane while flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while construction is underway.
