The Arizona Department of Transportation is closing Interstate-40 in both directions this weekend about 30 miles east of Flagstaff. Crews will begin work on the Two Guns bridge rehabilitation project Friday night at 8 p.m. ADOT says drivers will use the on and off ramps at the I-40/Two Guns road interchange to exit and re-enter the highway. The closure will be in effect from Friday night until Monday night at 8 p.m. Drivers should expect delays and allow for extra time to get through the area. Drivers also should prepare to slow down and make frequent stops while traveling through the construction zone.
