ADOT To Close Eastbound I-40 Tonight In Bellemont For Bridge Work

ADOT crews will close eastbound Interstate-40 in Bellemont Monday night. The closure is needed to perform work on the overpass for the Bellemont/Transwestern Road interchange from 7 p.m. until midnight. Traffic will detour along the off and on-ramps while the highway is closed. The work being done will improve the bridge deck and pavement and widen the on-and-off ramps at the interchange. During the closure, drivers who ordinarily would use the exit, can use the I-40 interchanges at Parks and A-1 Mountain. Westbound I-40 will be closed from 7 p.m. until midnight on Thursday.
