ADOT Reminds Travelers Of Daytime Ramp Closures Just West Of Flagstaff Beginning Saturday

The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding Flagstaff residents and travelers of daytime alternating ramp closures on Interstate 40 at A-1 Mountain Road beginning Saturday. Ramp closures are needed for crews to continue working on the A-1 Mountain Road bridge replacement. Travelers heading to A-1 Mountain Road on eastbound I-40 will be detoured to exit 191, before turning around and heading west on I-40 to access A-1 Mountain Road. Travelers heading to A-1 Mountain Road westbound on I-40 will be detoured to Hughes Avenue before turning around and heading east on I-40 to access A-1 Mountain Road. Construction will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and finish at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. ADOT reminds residents and travelers to slow down and use caution when traveling near crews and equipment.
