ADOT crews are beginning road work and conducting lane restrictions on State Route 89A beginning Monday. Restrictions are needed for crews to perform rockfall mitigation, erosion control, and a bridge rehabilitation. Areas of 89A will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic between the Pumphouse Wash Bridge and Oak Creek Vista. An eight-foot width and 30-foot vehicle length restrictions will be in place, along with a reduced speed limit. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution around crews and equipment. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
