ADOT Reminds Motorists Of Overnight Lane Closures West Of Flagstaff Beginning Tuesday

The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding Flagstaff residents and travelers of overnight lane closures on Interstate 40 beginning Tuesday. Lane closures are needed for crews to continue working on the A-1 Mountain Road bridge replacement. Both east and westbound travel on I-40 will be re-routed off the highway at A-1 Mountain Road’s off-ramp and will re-enter at the on-ramp. Flaggers will help with traffic flow and a 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. Construction will begin at 7 p.m. and finish at 7 a.m. daily. Closures are expected to be lifted on May 21st. ADOT reminds residents and travelers to slow down and use caution when traveling near crews and equipment.
