ADOT Crews To Conduct Work On State Route 89A Between Sedona And Flagstaff This Week

If your daily commute takes you on State Route 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff, there will be lane restrictions in place this week you’ll need to know about. ADOT says crews will restrict traffic to one lane from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday between mileposts 390 and 399, just south of Flagstaff. Crews will alternate north and southbound lanes to conduct pavement maintenance work. Then from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, north and southbound lanes of 89A will experience intermittent lane closures of ten to 15 minutes from milepost 382 to 383 and milepost 385 to 386 in Oak Creek Canyon. Forest crews will perform trail rehabilitation and maintenance in this area. Drivers should be prepared to stop and slow down when work crews and equipment are in use.
