ADOT is warning motorists to plan for daytime restrictions on westbound Interstate-40 near Williams from Tuesday through Friday as work begins on a pavement life extension project. Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane for two miles, from milepost 157 to milepost 155, from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 miles per hour in the work zone. The project will improve the condition of the eleven-mile stretch of I-40 between the East Ash Fork interchange and Devil Dog Road. Completion of the project is anticipated to be late in the fall.
