The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding drivers of lane restrictions on Highway 89 just north of Flagstaff beginning Wednesday. Lane restrictions are needed so crews can remove trees and other hazardous items in the roadway. During the restrictions, north and southbound travel on 89 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from Townsend-Winona Road to Sunset Crater Road. Lane restrictions will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be lifted on March 31st. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution when around crews and equipment.
