A longtime member of Yavapai Silent Wintess’s “Catch 22” program has been arrested in Michigan. Cottonwood Police say in the latter part of April of 2018, detectives investigated an incident involving the Old Town Association and now 52-year-old Traci Koelzer. During the investigation, detectives learned Koelzer was the association’s treasurer and defrauded the organization of more than 100-thousand dollars. She became aware of the charges and left the Cottonwood area. Investigators recently received a call from a concerned citizen, who provided information on Traci’s whereabouts. She was located and arrested in Oakland County, Michigan and has been extradited back to Yavapai County and is in the county’s detention facility. Koelzer has been charged with fraud and theft, both felonies, along with a probation violation. She is being held on $50-thousand cash bond.
