A report of a shoplifting at a Prescott Valley business leads to an arrest for dangerous drugs. Prescott Valley Police were called to a business at around 10 p.m. last Friday. The business have been watching two people since September, come into the store eight different times, and suspected them of stealing various items such as consumable goods, baseball cards, football cards and other items. On Friday, the male suspect stole just over $483 worth of Pokemon cards. The two were identified as 26-year-old Tyler Moore and 25-year-old Brittany Bender. Officers set up surveillance at the suspect’s home, just after midnight Saturday, in the 37-hundred block of North Taylor Drive. After Moore pulled into the driveway, the officer found Moore and Bender, with her seven-month-old baby asleep in the backseat. After both gave inconsistent stories, a K9 search of the vehicle discovered over a pound of marijuana, seven baggies weighing eight-and-a-half grams of cocaine, 20 chocolate bars containing psilo-cybin and a firearm. Moore and Bender have been booked on multiple charges.
