A Rider Of A Gas-Powered Bicycle Was Killed Wednesday Night In Williams

A person on a gasoline-powered bicycle, without lights or reflectors, was killed after a collision with two other vehicles on State Route 64 at the Kaibab Lake entrance in Williams Wednesday night. DPS says the accident happened at around 7:35 p.m. when the person on the bike was heading eastbound on Highway 64 and was rear-ended by a passenger vehicle. The bicycle rider landed on the roadway and was run over by the other vehicle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
