A Phoenix Woman Was Killed After A Motorcycle-Semi Truck Accident In East Flagstaff Thursday Morning

One person was killed after a collision between a motorcycle and a tractor trailer in East Flagstaff Thursday morning in Flagstaff. Police responded to Country Club Drive and the Interstate-40 Exit at around 9:40 a.m. The accident occurred as both vehicles were exiting I-40 and making a left turn onto westbound Country Club. While making the turn, the motorcycle was hit by the back of the truck’s trailer. The motorcycle was driven by 48-year-old Sheri Gustafson of Phoenix. Emergency crews arrived and tended to Gustafson, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver remained on scene until police arrived. He was taken to the Flagstaff Police Department for tests, where he exhibited no signs of impairment. The accident remains under investigation.
