A New Arena Football Team Is Calling Prescott Valley Home

A new arena football team will call the Findlay Toyota Center home. The announcement was made official at a press conference Tuesday in Prescott Valley. The team will take the place of the Northern Arizona Suns, who decided to move out of the Findlay Toyota Center earlier this year. The team will join the Indoor Football League, which is home to the Arizona Rattlers and the Tucson Sugar Skulls. Prescott Valley was home to an IFL team before. The Arizona Adrenaline were founded in 2008 and played one season in the Indoor Football League, finishing 11-and-3, and then suspended operations in 2009 due to lack of sponsorship funding. The team returned in 2011 and finished with a 1-and-13 record before folding. Team officials are asking fans in the Quad Cities to email team name suggestions.
