A man driving a van plowed through the Flagstaff Mall Monday morning. Flagstaff Police say a man stole a FedEx vehicle from Winslow and ended up driving through the Mall’s main entrance at around 10 a.m. He then tried to break into the Dillard’s store, before leaving the mall through a service hallway. Police say he committed multiple other felonies, including thefts, vehicle thefts, burglaries and an attempted residential burglary in the Mobile Haven area. No one was reportedly injured in this morning’s incident. Police say this appears to be unrelated to a burglary at the mall over the weekend. Mall damage is estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars. The crime spree reportedly began in Winslow and made its way to Flagstaff. Detectives are working with Winslow Police on the case. There is a suspect in custody and there is no active threat to the public. The case is under investigation. The mall reopened for business at 1:45 p.m.
