A Flood Advisory is in effect of Oak Creek near Sedona. The National Weather Service says rain, with periods of heavy rain, will combine with runoff from snowmelt to enhance flows in waterways. Oak Creek levels are rising and could reach critical levels, including actions stage at some point. At 9 a.m. flood stage was at 6.9 feet. The forecast is for the creek to rise to 9.3 feet late this evening and 9.8 feet late tomorrow morning. Flood stage for Oak Creek is 14 feet. However action stage is seven feet. The creek is forecast to go back down to just over four-feet by Friday.
