A Fire Broke Out During Ground Testing At Prescott Airport Wednesday Night

A fire broke out at the Prescott Airport Wednesday night. Prescott Fire officials say an aircraft was undergoing ground testing when it caught fire. Prescott Fire crews arrived at the scene and quickly put out the fire. There were no injuries reported. Area residents were informed of the incident by the Code Red alert system that emergency crews were called to the airport for precautionary measures. No commercial flights were impacted and airport operations returned to normal a short time later.
