A Domestic Dispute Leads To Shots Fired Tuesday Night In Munds Park

A domestic dispute led to shots fired in Munds Park Tuesday night. Coconino Country Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Trail Winds Place at around 9:15 p.m. for a shots fired call. When they arrived they found that the suspect, 37-year-old Wesley Deam, had left to his father’s house nearby. Investigators found that before they arrived there had been a domestic dispute between Deam and his girlfriend, who lives with him with her three young children. Deam allegedly broke out the windows of the house and a vehicle with a hammer. During this time a handgun was also discharged. When officers got to Dean’s fathers house, Deam had left to a friend’s house. Deam then left there before authorities arrived. Authorities found Deam in a vacant home and placed him under arrest. He’s been booked into the Coconino County Detention Center on multiple felony charges including: criminal damage, weapons misconduct and disorderly conduct and more. Deam also had a felony warrant out if California. The incident remains under investigation.
