A Cottonwood Woman Is Booked On Felony Charges After Being Arrested On A Misdemeanor Warrant

A Cottonwood woman was booked on two felonies recently after she was taken into custody on a misdemeanor warrant. Police say 22-year-old Janelle Marie Hockett was arrested at her Cottonwood home Sunday at around 2 p.m. When she was booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center, about a gram of meth was located in her bra. She was then charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs and for taking contraband into a correctional facility, also a felony.
