A Car Hauler Fire Closed Eastbound Interstate-40 East Of Flagstaff Early Sunday Morning

A car-hauler fire closed eastbound Interstate-40 east of Flagstaff early Sunday morning. Summit Fire and Medical crews responded to the scene at around 2:30 a.m. and found the truck, with at least two vehicles on fire on the trailer. Fire officials say the first arriving engine reported six vehicles on fire. The driver was able to unhook the tractor and the front portion of the hauler from the fire. There were no injuries reported. Eastbound I-40 was closed for a few hours, but has since reopened.
