The Prescott Police Department is continuing to ask for help in locating a man who committed a robbery and assault back on December 10th at around 1 p.m. in downtown Prescott. Police say the suspect approached a woman on Court House Plaza near the corner of Gurley Street and Cortez Street in downtown Prescott. The man started yelling at people participating in a rally. The man grabbed a cell phone from the woman and pushed her. He then grabbed a hat from off another man’s head and started walking away. He then smashed the woman’s cell phone and threw it in the trash. The suspect is an older man who was wearing a blue t-shirt a camouflage colored hat and grey hooded sweatshirt. He was with a small to medium sized dog who was on a leash. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a $200 reward for information leading to an arrest of the suspect.
