An earthquake measuring 4.4 rattled an area about 29 miles east-northeast of Littlefield, in a remote area of northwest corner of the state Monday. The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake hit at 2:18 p.m. and was over six miles deep. The quake was mostly felt along the border of Arizona and Utah. No damage has been reported.
