There was a train derailment east of Winslow Monday morning that has halted train traffic across Northern Arizona. BNSF officials say the derailment was near West Hibbard, which is just east of Winslow at around 6:30 a.m. Officials tell KAFF News the train was westbound when 29 cars derailed. None of the derailed cars contained hazardous materials. Train travel resumed at around 6 p.m. There were no injuries and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
