Two men were arrested in Prescott during two separate routine traffic stops during the first week of August. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, in partnership with Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking, conducted two traffic stops within an hour. The first stop involved 35-year-old Marco Ceja-Partida of Ontario, California. When stopped, Partida gave consent for deputies to search his vehicle, allowing deputies to find eight pounds of meth and 40-thousand fentanyl pills. The second stop involved 26-year-old Hector Ramirez-Galvez of Phoenix. When Galvez came to a stop, deputies found approximately 15-thousand fentanyl pills in his possession. Both Partida and Galvez have been arrested and booked in the Camp Verde Jail for transportation of dangerous and narcotic drugs for sale.
