A Prescott man has been arrested for stealing personal protective equipment from Yavapai Regional Medical Center West Campus in Prescott. Police responded to the hospital Friday regarding an investigation into one of their housekeeping employees, who they believed had been stealing various items and other housekeeping supplies over several weeks. During the interview with 49-year-old Keith Brown, he admitted to stealing gloves, hand sanitizer, surgical scrubs, towels, masks, toilet paper and more over three weeks time. Items were recovered from his vehicle, and his home and are worth around 17-hundred dollars. Brown was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on one count of theft and one count of fraud. He has since been fired from his job at YRMC. Authorities are working on getting the supplies back to the hospital.
