Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies seized nearly 100-thousand fentanyl pills in the first two weeks of September on Interstate-17 near Cordes Lakes. Deputies made the first traffic stop, which led to the discovery of 18 pounds, or about 72-thousand, fentanyl pills. Authorities arrested 23-year-old Ayleen Marin and 24-year-old Axcel Garcia, both from Phoenix. The second traffic stop resulted in the seizure of another six-pounds, or 24-thousand fentanyl pills. Deputies arrested 38-year-old Adolfo Delgado, also of Phoenix. Altogether, authorities seized 24 pounds of fentanyl, which is around 96-thousand pills.
