Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a suspect, or suspects, who stole $12-thousand from a victim’s bank accounts over the weekend in Prescott. Officials say the suspect intercepted tie victim’s UPS delivery at around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon and took her replacement debit card. The suspect, or suspects, then went to the Miller Valley Chase Bank Branch, knowingly impersonating a 56-year-old woman, and withdrew four-thousand dollars from the victim’s checking account and then another four-thousand dollars from her savings account. The suspect or suspects then went to the Gurley Street Chase Bank branch and withdrew another four-thousand dollars at around 2:50 p.m. An unsuccessful attempt to withdraw another $15-hundred was made at unknown ATM location. YCSO is looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a surveillance photo. If anyone information on the suspect, contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260.
