A Yavapai County Sheriff’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop on Eastbound I-40 Wednesday night, only to find 56-thousand fentanyl pills. He then deployed his K9 partner “Maximus” who alerted the deputy to the vehicle. Based on the dog’s alert, the deputy confiscated three fire extinguishers inside the vehicle. After opening them, the deputy found the pills inside. The driver was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail.
