YCSO Is Asking For The Public’s Help In Regards To A 13-Year-Old Cold Case

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help involving a 13-year-old cold case. Twenty-three-year-old Omar Solis went missing from the Phoenix area on November 1st, 2009 at 10 p.m. following a domestic disturbance he was involved in. His last known location was a Jack-in-the-Box on North 35th Avenue. Then on December 20th, 2009, hunters found a charred body in the Childs Power Plant area in Yavapai County, southeast of Camp Verde. Using dental records, the remains were officially identified as Solis’. Solis was married with a young child at the time and worked delivering furniture.
