YCSO Detectives Arrested A New Mexico Man Tuesday Morning At A Prescott Motel For Luring An Underage Girl For Sex

A New Mexico man was arrested Tuesday morning at a Prescott hotel, for luring an underage girl into a sexual encounter. Yavapai County Sheriff’s detectives, along with special agents from Homeland Security, took 54-year-old Dominic Ebert, from Santa Teresa, New Mexico into custody after he is suspected to have sent several sexually explicit audio files and photos of himself to a 14-year-old girl, as well as setting up a time and place to meet with her for sex in Prescott. He’s also suspected of seeking out the girl specifically because of her age. YCSO detectives verified Ebert made reservations at the Prescott Motel 6 for the purpose of meeting her. Authorities were waiting for him when Ebert attempted to check-in. During the investigation, Ebert had previously been charged and convicted of the same type of crimes as he was charged with this time. He was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, aggravated luring for a minor for sexual exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
