The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information into the whereabouts of 24 Yavapai County road signs that were taken recently. Officials say the signs were taken from the Contreras Road and Tonto Road area of Skull Valley between May 8th and May 11th. The unknown subjects took only the signs, of various meaning, leaving the posts in the ground. Some of the signs that were taken were: “Do Not Enter When Flooded, Cow, Cattle Guard” and more. If anyone has information on the matter, call the sheriff’s office at (928) 771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
